This weeks Illustration Friday topic was "Fail". This poor little squid failed to notice he had gotten to close to the shoreline while rolling and playing in the tides. Those pesky old seagulls were up to no good again and snatched him up out of the oceans edge. Now they all gawk and flutter about staring at the poor little fellow with their beady little eyes.

Hehehe. Very cool illo. You totally captured the expression of someone about to be pecked to bits by seagulls. Poor little squidikins.
Ha. My favorite so far. Granted, you are at the top of the list but this is very nicely done.
It's great the way you animated the birds with the light outlines. Poor squid - but I recently watched a scary documentary about squids who are capable of eating humans! AHH!!

I like the squid's look on his face. Also i like how everything pops out almost like 3-d. The shading is nice and is a shade down from techni-color
