RTD, ArtStar, and BUST

Had a blast this past weekend in Philadelphia at The 2010 Art Star Craft Bazaar. Met lot's of new folks and made a bunch of new friends in Philadelphia. The weather was awesome and the show was set up at Penn's Landing right on the Delaware River. Tons of live music and great artists/crafters displaying their eye candy. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and showed some love to RTD!

Big props to RTD's new Etsy friends Kimm and Lisa that shared the van ride down and back from NYC too! Both are super rad ladies that make beautiful things and laugh at RTD when he tries to be funny. I also had the pleasure of being next to the awesome Valerie Mayen who heads up Yellowcake and not only makes great stuff, but also tosses up 10% of her sales to local charity. RTD likes.

Next stop is BUST in Brooklyn this Sunday. Come on by if your in the neighborhood! Details below...

RTD at Crafts In Chelsea This Weekend

WHEN: Saturday May 8, 2010, 10am – 5pm
WHERE: 21st street between 8-9 Avenues, NYC

Join RAWTOASTDESIGN in Chelsea, one of Manhattan's most popular neighborhoods for dining and entertaining, for CRAFTS IN CHELSEA: a gathering of over 100 of the finest local Etsy artists and craftspeople.

Shop for the very best hand made art, jewelry, clothing, ceramics, knits, glass, and other crafts.

Chelsea is a mecca for a fine design aesthetic, attracting much of the demographic that at one time made the West Village the trendiest neighborhood in town. Some of New York’s finest dining can be found on Eigth Avenue, and numerous upscale hotels have opened in the area this year. It is a family friendly neighborhood with a cutting edge night life–a stone’s throw from the Empire State Building and Times Square.

This event benefits Public School PS11, and helps to ensure that its arts programs remain funded
