Nature & Technology

This was a cover that I just did for the lawrence.com Deadwood Issue #240. This image/idea was the first thing to come to me and I just couldn't get the idea of a robot tree waltz out of my head. Check out the nature and technology issue here - link.

Time Out New York Kids - Classics 2.0

Had the pleasure of working with Skye Back again over at Time Out New York Kids for this month's March issue. I got to do character illos for the cover, table of contents, and the feature as well. It really turned out to be a fun assignment. The feature was a review of their favorite books, movies, music, tv, cartoons, and toys all the way from the 80s to the present. You can read the article here: link

Show of Hands

This illustration was done for the March issue of Indianapolis Monthly magazine. They were looking for something to quickly and cleverly communicate that they have a good bunch of volunteers (that do more than their share of volunteering). Also to somehow incorporate the headline "Show of Hands". So I put those notes between two pieces of rawtoast and fed them to my illustration concept generating robot (version 2.5) and this was what he told me to draw.

Musical Chairs

This illustration was done for the Talk of the Town section in the March issue of 417 Magazine. The blurb was about some favorite acts in Branson show-business that are currently engaging in theater swaps.
